What Brings You To Celebrity Psychings?

By Alicia Sparks

It is such an absolutely gorgeous day here in the Mountain State my friends, and I’ve had such a fantastic weekend, that I figured the best way to bring it to a close would be with a little eyebrow-raising stuff…

I always enjoy reading the keywords and phrases that bring visitors to Celebrity Psychings (please know that these search results are completely confidential - I have no idea who searches what). Usually, it’s pretty normal stuff (i.e. things I actually write about on a fairly regular basis). For example, I get a lot of “celebrities with mental health problems,” “celebrity alcohol and substance abuse,” and “celebrity stalkers” - things I write about every day.

Another few examples include “grey’s anatomy ptsd,” “owen hunt ptsd,” and “what is going to happen to izzie stevens” (I’ve covered Grey’s characters Owen Hunt and Izzie Stevens - so, pretty standard stuff).

However, sometimes some of the things I write about tend to get woven into search results that may or may not deal with what I write about here, but that are kind of questionable nonetheless.

In no particular order, below are my top three favorite searches - or, kinds of searches - from March:

The Twilight Cast

I’ve written about Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson a handful of times (Kristen, because I was proud of her, and Robert…well, because it’s Robert). So, I’m not too surprised when people wander over to Celebrity Psychings every now and then in search of posts about the two Twilight stars.

I do get surprised, though, when the search phrases consist of:

  • “robert pattinson mental disorder”
  • “robert pattinson died of an overdose”
  • “robert pattinson death”
  • “kristen stewart going crazy in a bad way”
  • “kristen stewart seems really mean”

Actually, the last two aren’t that surprising - Kristen tends to come off a bit “hard” now and then, and I guess people are interested in that. But, the Robert searches? And there were actually several different variations of the “robert pattinson death” one. As far as I (and Google, ha!) know, folks, Rob is very much alive and if he has some sort of mental health problem going on, it’s not public at this point.

Anger Abounds

“kristen stewart going crazy in a bad way” is nothing compared to some of the really angry and violent searches that’ve led folks to this blog, such as:

  • “i hate nadya suleman”
  • “die izzie stevens die”
  • “…my friends smith & wesson…”

Poor Izzie, haha.

The first and third searches aren’t too surprising: I wrote about Nadya Suleman a while back (actually, I wrote about another blogger’s post titled “5 Reasons Not to Hate Octo-Mom,” so, no real surprise that phrase would lead people here), and in the comments section of Celebrity Or Not: Resources For Dealing With Stalkers, one commenter talked about her “friends Smith & Wesson.” But, come on people. Let’s think happy thoughts. :)

Completely and Utterly Random

Yeah, I don’t think this section needs any introduction:

  • “even celebrities smell sometimes”
  • “what happens to celebrities when they move to iowa”
  • “hey im billy bob joe”
  • “how to talk with eyes”
  • “if it doesn’t work it’s not the end”

Haha, keep the randomness coming people :) Oh, and if you happen know what happens to celebs when they move to Iowa, please, enlighten us.

With that, I’m off to enjoy what’s left of this weekend!
